'Crust & Crumble Pizzeria' was born from a singular vision: to introduce true Neapolitan pizzas to London. Established by the Bianchi household in 1985, our establishment began as a quaint, family-operated eatery, boasting recipes passed down for generations.
Marco Bianchi, our originator, mastered the craft of pizza creation during her sojourns across Italy, honing her skills with esteemed pizza artisans in Naples—the cradle of pizza. Upon her return to the UK, she aspired to replicate the enchantment of authentic Italian pizza, embracing time-tested techniques and the choicest ingredients.
What started as a humble eatery with only 12 seats has evolved into a cherished local landmark, yet our dedication to craftsmanship and genuine culinary art remains steadfast. We persist in employing traditional wood-fired oven methods, preparing our dough from scratch every day, and selecting supreme ingredients for our dishes.
To this day, 'Crust & Crumble Pizzeria' is still family-held and directed, with the Bianchi lineage's second generation at the helm of our devoted crew. Although we've adopted certain contemporary improvements, our core purpose endures: forging delectable, traditional pizzas that unite people.
